RESOLUTION 08-29
APPROVING THE WESTERN AREA AND NORTH OUTFALL SEWER
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF WAUKEE AND VEENSTRA &KIMM,INC.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF HiE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City is considering construction of an outfall sewer along Sugar Creek from the
north end of the existing 24-inch diameter Sugar Creek Trunk Sewer across the golf course to
County Road R-22 (North Outfall Sewer);AND,
WHEREAS,the City is also considering continuing said outfall sewer along Sugar Creek to
University Avenue (Western Area Outfall Sewer);AND;
WHEREAS,the City desires to proceed with the design and preparation of the plans and
specification for the Project;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to retain the services of Veenstra &Kirum,Inc.as engineers to
provide engineering design and construction services on the Project;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Western Area and North Outfall Sewer Professional Engineering Services Agreement with
Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.,is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 4th day of February
2008.
