RESOLUTION 09-39
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS AND COUNCIL
REPRESENTATIVES TO THE AQUATIC CENTER TASK FORCE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has established the Aquatic Center Task Force advisory
committee which shall be dedicated to the study of the design and financing of a municipal
aquatic center/swimming pool (Resolution #09-38);AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard has appointed the following Waukee citizens as members
of the Aquatic Center Task Force:
I)Deb Cortez
2)Iean Ballinger
3)Krista Soda
4)Laura Gratias
5)Denny Dolmage
6)Kellie Paschke
7)Jerry Stanton
8)Troy Mapes
9)Steve Schmiedt
10)Denise Anderson
11)IeffKooistra [City Administrator/Clerk]
12)Matt Jermier [Parks and Rec Director];AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor Peard has also appointed Council Members Isaiah McGee and Darlene
Stanton as Council representatives to the committee;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 23'd day of February 2009 that it hereby approves the mayor's appointment of members
and Council representatives to the Aquatic Center Task Force.
