RESOLUTION 09-41
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF WAUKEE AND OGE
ENERGY RESOURCES,INC.,TO ALLOW U.S,ENERGY SERVICES,INC.,TO
SERVE AS AGENT FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE FOR THE SALE AND
PURCHASE OF NATURAL GAS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORiTY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City wishes to appoint U,S.Energy Services,Inc"to serve as its agent for
all purposes under a NAESB Base Contract for sale and purchase of natural gas with OGE
Energy Resources,Inc.,dated July 1,2006;AND,
WHEREAS,an Agency Agreement has been provided by OGE Energy Resources,Inc.,to
make this appointment;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attorney has reviewed the agreement and finds it to be reasonable;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
on this 23'd day of February 2009 that the agreement between the City of Waukee and OGE
Energy Resources,Inc.,to allow U.S.Energy Services,Inc.,to serve as agent for the City of
Waukee for the sale and purchase of natural gas is hereby approved.
