RESOLUTION 07-09
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF THE PRIMARY AND
ALTERNATE MEMBER FOR THE DES MOINES AREA METROPOLITAN
PLANNING ORGANIZATION (MPO)AND THE PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE
MEMBER FOR THE DES MOINES AREA MPO TRANSPORTATION AND
TECHNICAL COMMITTEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee must annually appoint or reappoint representatives to
the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)and the MPO
Transportation Technical Committee (MPO TTC);AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has one primary representative and one alternate
representative on both the MPO and on the MPO TTC;AND,
WHEREAS,for the calendar year 2007,Mayor William F.Peard has appointed himself
as the primary representative and Council Member Darlene Stanton as the alternate
representative to the MPO;AND,
WHEREAS,for the calendar year 2007,Mayor William F.Peard has appointed Director
of Community Development Jody T.Gunderson as the primary representative and City
Administrator/Clerk Jeffrey L.Kooistra as the alternate representative to the MPO TTC.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 8th day ofJanuary 2007 that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments to
the Metropolitan Planning Organization and to the Metropolitan Planning Organi ation
Transportation Technical Committee.
