RESOLUTION 07-01
APPROVING THE SALE OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY AT
14705 SE UNIVERSITY AVENUE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,on December 12,2006,the Waukee City Council directed City staff to
pursue the sale of city-owned property at 14705 SE University Avenue (Resolution #06-
247);AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Iowa Code §364.7,notice was published of January 3,2007 at
1:30 p.m.at Waukee City Hall as the date,time and place for receipt of bids for said
property;and of January 8,2007 at 7:00 p.m.at Waukee City Hall Council Chambers as
the date,time and place for public hearing on the proposal;AND,
WHEREAS,public hearing having been held at said date,time and place,the City
Council considered bids received;AND,
WHEREAS,the highest bid received was that from Troy A.Skinner,880 Walnut Ridge
Drive,Waukee,in the amount of$10,100.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this s"day ofJanuary 2007 that it hereby approves the sale of property at 14705
SE University Avenue to Troy A.Skinner in the amount of$1O,100.00.
