RESOLUTION 07-33
APPROVING A PROPOSAL FROM VEENSTRA &KIMM,INC.,TO PROVIDE
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE WAUKEE OUTFALL SEWER
PUMPING STATION AND FORCE MAIN IMPROVEMENTS
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City is considering construction of an outfall sewer along Sugar Creek from the
WRA sewer connection at Interstate 80 to one-half mile north,and the construction of a pumping
station with force main to pump flows from the treatment plant to the outfall sewer;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to proceed with the design and preparation of the plans and
specification for the Project;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to retain the Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.as engineers to provide
engineering design and construction services on the Project;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the City of
Waukee hereby approves retaining Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.for Professional Engineering Services
for Waukee Outfall Sewer Pumping Station and Force Main Improvements.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 22nd day of January
2007.
