RESOLUTION 07-36
APPROVING A PROPOSAL FROM VEENSTRA &KIMM,INC.,TO PROVIDE
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE OUTFALL SEWER
CORRIDOR ESTABLISHMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City is considering preliminary engineering of the outfall sewer alignment and
obtaining easements to preserve a corridor for construction of a future outfall sewer between
312th Street and Interstate 80 along Sugar Creek;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to proceed with the preliminary engmeenng and easement
acquisition;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to retain the Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.as engineers to provide
preliminary engineering and negotiate on behalf of the City with property owners to obtain the
easements;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the City of
Waukee hereby approves retaining Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.for Professional Engineering Services
for Outfall Sewer Corridor Establishement.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 12th day of February
2007.
