RESOLUTION 07-61
APPROVING THE PROPOSAL BY M1DAMERICAN ENERGY FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS ALONG UNIVERSITY AVENUE AND
ALICE'S ROAD
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee requested a proposal from MidAmerican Energy to install
streetlights along University Avenue and Alice's Road as part of the widening project;AND,
WHEREAS,MidAmerican Energy will install a total of 54 streetlights at a cost of $143,242.99;
AND,
WHEREAS,the funding for the streetlights will come from the University Avenue Widening
Project fund;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the City of
Waukee hereby approves the proposal by MidAmerican Energy for the installation of street
lights along University Avenue and Alice's Road.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 19t1'day of March
2007.
