RESOLUTION 07-70
APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH F.e.DES MOINES,t.c,D/B/A DES
MOINES MENACE WITH RESPECT TO THE USE OF SPACE IN CENTENNIAL
PARK FOR ITS ACTIVITIES DURING THE 2007 SOCCER SEASON
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the F.C.Des Moines,L.C.,d/b/a the Des Moines Menace has approached the City
of Waukee for the use of Centennial Park to include a VIP tent in which beer shall be sold;AND,
WHEREAS,the Park Board reviewed the agreement at the April 5,2007 meeting and
unanimously approved the agreement;AND,
WHEREAS,the Menace will provide the City with adequate liability,property damage and
medical insurance coverage in an amount determined by Insurance Associates,the City's
insurance provider;AND,
WHEREAS,the Des Moines Menace organization has proven itself during the 2005 and 2006
soccer seasons as an excellent partner with the City of Waukee through its responsible use of the
Centennial Park facilities.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa in
session this is"day of April 2007 that the agreement with F.e.Des Moines,L.C.,d/b/a the Des
Moines Menace for the use of the Centennial Park Facilities for the 2007 soccer season be
approved.
