RESOLUTION 07-91
APPROVING THE JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT CHIEF,
EMS DIVISION;APPROVING SALARY FOR SAID POSITION;AND DIRECTING
CITY STAFF TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF FILLING SAID POSITION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,due to continued growth and development within Waukee,Fire Chief Robinson
recommends that the position of Assistant Chief,EMS Division,be created;AND,
WHEREAS,the position of Assistant Chief,EMS Division,shall be designated as a volunteer
position;AND,
WHEREAS,Fire Chief Robinson also recommends a salary of $250.00 per month for the
position of Assistant Chief,EMS Division;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has reviewed the job description and salary
recommendation for the position of Assistant Chief,EMS Division,and finds them appropriate;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 7th day of May 2007 that it hereby approves the job description and salary for the
position of Assistant Chief,EMS Division;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council directs City staff to begin the process of
filling the position of Assistant Chief,EMS Division.
