RESOLUTION 07-90
APPROVING THE JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT FIRE
CHIEF;APPROVING SALARY FOR SAID POSITION;AND DIRECTING CITY
STAFF TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF FILLING SAID POSITION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the position of Assistant Fire Chief is currently vacant;AND,
WHEREAS,the position of Assistant Fire Chief is designated as a volunteer position;AND,
WHEREAS,Fire Chief Robinson recommends a salary of $250.00 per month for the position of
Assistant Fire Chief;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has reviewed the job description and salary
recommendation for the position of Assistant Fire Chief and finds them appropriate;
1NOWTHEREFOREBEITRESOLVEDbytheCityCounciloftheCityofWaukee,Iowa on
this the 7th day of May 2007 that it hereby approves the job description and salary for the
position of Assistant Fire Chief;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council directs City staffto begin the process of
filling the position of Assistant Fire Chief.
