RESOLUTION 07-87
APPROVING,PURSUANT TO IOWA CODE §364.12(2)(a),FOR THE TEMPORARY
CLOSING OF SE MARSHALL DRIVE FROM WARRIOR LANE EAST TO SE
WINDFIELD PARKWAY ON SATURDAY,JUNE 2,2007 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF
5:00 PM AND 10:00 PM FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK
PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the residents located between SE Marshall Drive from Warrior Lane east to SE
Windfield Parkway have requested the street closure for the purpose of a neighborhood block
party;AND,
WHEREAS,the street will be closed between the hours of 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm on Saturday
June 2,2007;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),Public ways and grounds,may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
7th day of May that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Marshall Drive from Warrior
Lane east to SE Windfield Parkway on Saturday,June 2,2007 between the hou f 5:00 pm and
10:00 pm for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
