RESOLUTION 06-238
APPROVING THE REQUEST FOR A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF THE CITY OF
WAUKEE REAP GRANT #OS-R4-NF IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the project consists of the acquisition of railroad right-of-way from the Union
Pacific Railroad Company;AND,
WHEREAS,the ROW will be utilized as a corridor for a proposed recreation trail;AND,
WHEREAS,the process of acquiring the ROW from the Union Pacific Railroad Company has
taken longer than previously expected and thus makes it necessary to request an extension of the
City of Waukee,Iowa REAP Grant,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the City of
Waukee hereby approves the request for a l-year extension of the City of Waukee REAP Grant
#05-R4-NF in the amount of $100,000.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 4TH day of December
2006.
