RESOLUTION 08-01
APPROVAL OF BRICK GENTRY LAW FIRM AS CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE
YEAR 2008
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITYOF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa,is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council must appoint the position of City Attorney
annually;AND,
WHEREAS,the law finn of Brick,Gentry,Bowers,Swartz,Stoltze,Schuling &Levis,
P.C.,hereinafter known as Brick Gentry Law Finn,was first appointed as City Attorney
by the City Council on June 6,2005 (Resolution #05-90);AND,
WHEREAS,the Brick Gentry Law Finn has proven to be an excellent partner with and
resource for the City of Waukee in all necessary aspects of the legal system;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee,Iowa on
this 7th day of January,2008,does hereby approve the appointment of Brick Gentry Law
Fil111as City Attorney for the Year 2008.
