RESOLUTION 08-08
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF THE REPRESENTATIVE
AND ALTERNATE TO THE WASTEWATER RECLAMATION AUTHORITY
(WRA)BOARD FOR 2008
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,according to the provisions of the 28B agreement the City of Waukee holds
with the Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA),the City must annually appoint or
reappoint representatives to the WRA Board;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has one representative and one alternate on the WRA
Board;AND,
WHEREAS,for the calendar year 2008,Mayor William Peard has appointed City
Administrator/Clerk Jeffrey L.Kooistra as the representative and Director of Public
Works John Gibson as the alternate to the WRA Board.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 7'h day of January,2008,that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments to
the Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA)Board.
