RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING AN ADDITIONAL LOW PRESSURE
AGREEMENT FOR THE SOUTHFORK AND WALNUT RIDGE SANITARY SEWER
SYSTEM PROJECT FROM PROPERTY OWNERS WITHIN THE SOUTHFORK AND
WALNUT RIDGE SUBDIVISIONS
WHEREAS,the city has received petitions from a large number of property owners,
identified on Exhibit A attached hereto,within the Southfork and Walnut Ridge subdivisions
within the Corporate limits of the City of Waukee requesting that the City install a Low Pressure
Sanitary Sewer Collection System to service said subdivisions;and,
WHEREAS,such a system requires the installation of grinder pumps and service lines at
each property that connects to the collection system;and,
WHEREAS,the Grinder Pumps are anticipated to fail periodically and a large number of
property owners desire to have the city available for service of their Grinder Pumps and have
executed agreements concerning the same;and,
WHEREAS,on October 1,2007,October 15,2007,and November 5,2007,the Waukee
City Council approved Low Pressure Agreements received prior to those dates (Resolutions #07-
204,#07-216,#07-238);and,
WHEREAS,the City has since received Low Pressure Agreements from Dan and
Kendra Owen,818 SE Walnut Ridge Drive;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOL YED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WAUKEE,IOWA,that the Low Pressure Agreement submitted by Dan and Kendra Owen of
818 SE Walnut Ridge Drive,ishereby approved,subject to the terms and conditions set forth
therein.
