RESOLUTION 07-247
APPROVING THE PROPOSAL BY MIDAMERICAN ENERGY FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS FOR THE UNIVERSITY AVENUE
RECONSTRUCTION,ALICE'S ROAD TO L.A.GRANT PARKWAY,IN THE
AMOUNT OF $107,302.52
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee requested a proposal from MidAmerican Energy to install
streetlights as part of the University Avenue Reconstruction,Alice's Road to L.A.Grant
Parkway;AND,
WHEREAS,MidAmerican Energy proposes a one-time installation charge of $107,302.52 for
21 steel streetlight poles;AND,
WHEREAS,the funding for the streetlights will come from the University Avenue Widening,
Waco Place to Alice's Road,Project fund;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the City of
Waukee hereby approves the proposal by MidAmerican Energy for the installation of street
lights for the University Avenue Reconstruction,Alice's Road to L.A.Grant Parkway,in the
amount of$107,302.52.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 19th day of November
2007.
