Resolution providing for prepayment of Sewer Revenue Refunding Notes,Series 1999,
dated November 1,1999
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa (the "City")heretofore issued $705,000 Sewer
Revenue Refunding Notes,Series 1999,dated November 1,1999 (the "1999 Notes"),pursuant to
a resolution passed and approved on October 19,1999 (the "1999 Note Resolution"),under
which the right was reserved to the City to call and prepay the 1999 Notes maturing in each of
the years 2008 to 2012,inclusive,in the aggregate principal amount of $235,000,as a whole or
from time to time in part prior to maturity upon terms of par and accrued interest on and after
June 1,2007;and
WHEREAS,the City desires to call and prepay the remaining 1999 Notes on July 11,
2007 (the "Redemption Date"),and prior to such redemption,provision must be made for giving
notice of redemption as provided by the 1999 Note Resolution;
NOW,THEREFORE,It Is Hereby Resolved and ordered by the City Council of Waukee,
Iowa,as follows:
Section 1.The outstanding 1999 Notes are hereby called for redemption and
prepayment on the Redemption Date upon terms of par and accrued interest to the Redemption
Date.
Bankers Trust Company,N.A.,Des Moines,Iowa,as the registrar and paying agent for
the 1999 Notes,is hereby authorized and directed to give notice of the redemption by mailing
written notice by certified mail,return receipt requested,to each of the registered owners of the
1999 Notes to be redeemed at the addresses shown on the City'S registration books,not less than
30 nor more than 60 days prior to the Redemption Date,as provided in the 1999 Note
Resolution.
Section 2.All resolutions or orders or parts thereof,to the extent the same may be in
conflict herewith,are hereby repealed.
