RESOLUTION 07-111
APPROVING FUNDING FOR THE WAUKEE FARMER'S MARKET,SPONSORED
BY THE WAUKEE TRIANGLE ASSOCIATION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Triangle Association is sponsoring and administering the annual
Waukee Farmer's Market,which had previously been sponsored and administered by the City of
Waukee Park Board and Parks and Recreation Department;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Triangle Association has formally requested compensation from the
City for the cost of advertising for the Waukee Fanner's Market,which the Association has
projected at a total of $4,913.40;AND
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council approved the allocation of $750.00 toward the Waukee
Fanner's Market as part of the FY2007 city budget (Resolution #06-32);
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
4th day of June 2007 that it hereby approves the funding of $750.00 from the FY07 city budget to
the Waukee Triangle Association to help offset the costs associated with advertising of the
Waukee Farmer's Market.
