RESOLUTION 07-118
APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN GRIGGS ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGIES
AND THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,TO PERFORM A WETLAND
INVESTIGATION FOR THE WAUKEE SPORTS AND RECREATION COMPLEX
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,in order to proceed with planning and design of the Waukee Sports and Recreation
Complex,a wetland investigation must be conducted for the subj ect property;AND,
WHEREAS,on May 25,2007,City staff distributed requests for proposals for wetland
investigations services for the Waukee Sports and Recreation Complex;AND,
WHEREAS,after reviewing all received proposals,City staff recommend approval of a contract
with Griggs Environmental Strategies for wetland investigation services;AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the City of
Waukee hereby approves the contract between Griggs Environmental Strategies and the City of
Waukee,Iowa,to perform a wetland investigation for the Waukee Sports and Recreation
Complex.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 18th d of June 2007.
