RESOLUTION 07-116
APPROVING A 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN DALLAS COUNTY AND THE CITY
OF WAUKEE,IOWA,FOR JOINT PUBLIC SERVICE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,a 28E agreement titled "Joint Public Service Agreement"exists between Dallas
County and the City of Waukee,Iowa for the purpose of specifying routine maintenance
responsibilities on shared or adjoining roadways,including paved and granular-surfaced roads;
AND,
WHEREAS,the 28E agreement also provides a format to develop a separate agreement for
maj or maintenance on roads for which the parties share an interest;AND,
WHEREAS,the 28E agreement must be revised to reflect maintenance of roadways within
areas recently annexed by the City of Waukee;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the City of
Waukee hereby approves the 28E agreement between Dallas County and the City of Waukee,
Iowa,for Joint Public Service.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 18th day of June 2007.
