RESOLUTION 07-1~
WAIVING THE $100 NOISE PERMIT APPLICATION FEE AND $100 BOND
FOR THE WAUKEE AREA ARTS COUNCIL "JAZZ IN JULY"EVENT OF
THURSDAY,JULY 12,2007 AT WAUKEE TRIANGLE PARK FROM 6:00 P.M.
TO 9:00 P.M.
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Area Arts Council will sponsor "Jazz in July,"to be held at
Waukee Triangle Park on Thursday,July 12 from 6:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m.,AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Area Arts Council has applied for a noise permit for the event
pursuant to Waukee Municipal Code §228;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Area Arts Council requests that the $100 noise permit
application fee and $100 refundable bond be waived as the organization is a non-profit
entity.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 9th day of July 2007 that it hereby approves waiving the $100 noise permit
application fee and $100 bond for the Waukee Area Arts Council "Jazz in July"event of
Thursday,July 12,2007 at Waukee Triangle Park from 6:00 p.m.to 9:00 p..
