RESOLUTION 07-130
APPROVING,PURSUANT TO IOWA CODE §364.12(2)(a),FOR THE TEMPORARY
CLOSING OF SE FLORENCE DRIVE BETWEEN SE BOOTH DRIVE AND SE
ROSENKRANZ DRIVE ON SATURDAY,JULY 14,2007 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF
3:00 PM AND 10:00 PM FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK
PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,James Allen,1470 SE Florence Drive,has requested the temporary closure ofSE
Florence Drive between SE Booth Drive and SE Rosenkranz Dr.for the purpose of a
neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,the street will be closed between the hours of 3 :00 p.m.and 10:00 p.m.on
Saturday July 14,2007;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),Public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
9th day of July 2007 that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Florence Drive between
SE Booth Drive and SE Rosenkranz Dr.on Saturday,July 14,2007 between the hours of3:00
p.m.and 10:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
