RESOLUTION 07-124 I
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A 2008 INTERNATIONAL 4000 SERIES
CAB AND CHASSIS WITH SERVICE BODY FROM O'HALLORAN
INTERNATIONAL IN THE AMOUNT OF $74,864.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the purchase of
the following vehicle and equipment:
Unit Description:2008 International 4000 Series cab and chassis with service
body
Additional Items:Air brakes
Air dryer
Traction control
Air passenger seat;AND,
WHEREAS,said vehicle will be used by the Waukee Gas Department,primarily in the
construction of new gas line installations,and will be purchased at state bid price for
calendar year 2007 with funds in the current Gas Department budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 9th day of July 2007 that it hereby approves the purchase of a 2008
International 4000 Series cab and chassis with service body from O'Halloran
International in the amount of$74.864.00.
