RESOLUTION 07-141
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN KUTACK ROCK,LLP,AND THE
CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,RELATED TO LOBBYING SERVICES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the Cities of Waukee and West Des Moines mutually and jointly agree to
retain the services of Kutak Rock,LLP,to represent the cities in order to communicate
with various officials about the need and justification for the ios"Street/Alice's Road/I-
80 Interchange project and associated roadway improvements;AND,
WHEREAS,the Cities of Waukee and West Des Moines have received a letter of
agreement from Kutak Rock,LLP,dated July 12,2007,related to such services;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council ofthe City of West Des Moines approved the letter of
agreement on July 16,2007;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee,Iowa,in
session this 23'd day of July,2007,does hereby approve the retainage of the services of
Kutack Rock,LLP,to represent the Cities of Waukee and West Des Moines on the lOSth
Street/Alice's Road/I-80 Interchange project.
