RESOLUTION 07-192
RESOLUTION OF APPROVAL TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS BROADCAST AND MEETING ROOM UPGRADE PROJECT
WITH THE CITY OF WEST DES MOINES INFORMATION SYSTEMS.
WHEREAS,The City of Waukee broadcasts various City meetings on Mediacom Cable
Channel 7;AND
WHEREAS,the City recognizes a need to upgrade our broadcast capabilities,and to
have a proj ector and screen to allow the audience to view documents presented during a
meeting;AND
WHEREAS,the City staff has allocated funds in the FY08 budgeting process to pay for
these improvements;AND
WHEREAS,through our 28E Agreement with The City of West Des Moines,their
Information Systems Manager has recommended and approved the Council Chambers
Broadcast and Meeting Room Upgrades Project.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Waukee hereby approves
the Council Chambers Broadcast and Meeting Room Upgrades Project on this 17tl1 day of
September 2007.
