RESOLUTION 07-195
APPROVING THE 2007 TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT
GRANT APPLICATION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council believes strongly in promoting the improvement
and enhancement of the parks and trails system throughout the community;AND,
WHEREAS,the Iowa Department of Transportation has invited communities in the state
to apply for grant funding through Statewide Transportation Enhancement,with a
matching funds requirement of30%as part of the budget for FY 200812009;AND,
WHEREAS,in order to be considered for grant money from the Iowa Department of
Transportation as part of this program,an official endorsement from the Waukee City
Council is required;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 17th day of September 2007 that it hereby approves and endorses the 2007
Transportation Enhancement grant application.
