RESOLUTION 07-193
RESOLUTION OF APPROVAL TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE WIRELESS
CONNECTIVITY PROJECT FOR CITY HALL,PUBLIC WORKS AND PUBLIC
SAFETY BUILDINGS,WITH THE CITY OF WEST DES MOINES
INFORMATION SYSTEMS.
WHEREAS,The City of Waukee conducts business in multiple facilities within the
City;AND
WHEREAS,the City recognizes a need to have these buildings connected through a high
speed network connection,and to house the computer server equipment in a central and
secure location;AND
WHEREAS,the City staff has allocated funds in the FY08 budgeting process to pay for
these improvements;AND
WHEREAS,through our 28B Agreement with The City of West Des Moines,their
Information Systems Manager has recommended and approved the Wireless Connectivity
Project for City Hall,Public Works,and Public Safety Buildings.INOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Waukee hereby approves
the Wireless Connectivity Project on this 17th day of September 2007.
