RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN ROADS AS LEVEL B ROADS IN
THE CITY OF WAUKEE.
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has passed an ordinance providing for the creation of Level B
Roads in the City of Waukee,said Ordinance being passed the 5th Day of January,1998;and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has identified certain roads within the City of Waukee as
warranting a lower level of maintenance either due isolation,a lower amount of use,or an
infrastructure which does not meet the city's standard specifications for a road;and
WHEREAS,said Ordinance requires a public hearing before said streets can be so designated;and
WHEREAS,said public hearing has been held,and comments from the public have been solicited
heard,and placed on file;and
WHEREAS,during the course of the public hearing it was clearly explained that Level BRoads
receive only a minimal amount of maintenance;and
WHEREAS,the City has looked at these roads and has determined that,if and when accepted as
City streets (if applicable),these streets should become Level BRoads;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the Waukee City Council does hereby designate
the following roads as "Level B"Roads -such designation shall not be effective until 30 days,after
this Resolution and any Deeds transferring title of said Roads to the City (if applicable),are filed
with the Dallas County Recorder's Office.
