)A RESOLUTION SETTING WATER METER COST AND CHARGE TO
BUILDER FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE CITY OF WAUKEE'S
WATER DEPARTMENT IN THE COURSE OF INSTALLATION OF SAID
METERS.
WHEREAS,it is the desire of the City of Waukee to recover the cost of materials and labor involved
in the purchase and installation of water meters in new construction;and
WHEREAS,the billing for the meter and installation is most efficiently done at the time a building
pernritisissued;and
WHEREAS,a thorough and fair assessment of the cost incurred by the City's Water Department
has been arrived at;and
WHEREAS,the City's goal is to provide the highest possible service and goods,at the lowest
possible price.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that of the Waukee City Council hereby establishes the
fee for the installation of water meters at:

$405.00
$550.00
