RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE CITY OF WAUKEE.
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipal organization;and
WHEREAS,due and timely notice of hearing for Voluntary Annexation has been published and
mailed as required by law;and
WHEREAS,due hearing has been held on said Petition;and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa,desires to approve the filing of a Voluntary Annexation
petition into the City of Waukee.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,
as follows:
1.That the petition for Voluntary Annexation attached hereto describing the area to be
annexed,is hereby approved.
2.That the property approved for annexation shall also include any road right-of-way
adjacent to the Voluntary Annexation Property described herein to the center of the road.]
3.That the City Clerk,of the City of Waukee,Iowa,shall forthwith cause this resolution
and the Petition for voluntary annexation to the City of Waukee,Iowa,attached hereto,to
be filed with the City Development Board as required by Section 368 Code ofIowa,for
approval by the Board.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this 6th day of
October,1997.
