RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE APPROVING AN
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP IN THE DES MOINES MPO FOR THE
CITY OF POLK CITY.
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a member of the Des Moines Area Metropolitan
Planning Organization,as organized under Iowa Code Chapter 28E;and
WHEREAS,the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization has received a
request from the City of Polk City,Iowa,for an associate non-voting membership in the Des
Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization;and
WHEREAS,the Bylaws of the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization
required an affirmative vote of three-fourths of the current Des Moines Area Metropolitan
Planning Organization members for a government to be eligible for an associate non-voting
membership;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Waukee hereby approves an
associate non-voting membership for the City of Polk City.
