RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN K.C.
HOLDINGS,INC.AND THE CITY OF WAUKEE,PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION
THEREOF,AND DIRECTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO TAKE ALL
PROCEDURES AS REQUIRED BY LAW TO CLOSE THE TRANSACTION AND OBTAIN
POSSESSION OF THE PREMISES.
WHEREAS the City of Waukee,Iowa,has complied with all statutory requirements for
approval of the lease agreement between K.C.Holdings,Inc.,as landlord,and the City of Waukee,as
tenant,for the lease of property in Lot 3,Candleridge Park,an Official Plat in the City of Waukee,
Dallas County,Iowa;and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Waukee has found that the maximum term of said
lease does not exceed the economic life of the property,as determined by the City Council;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED:
That the City of Waukee,Iowa,does hereby approve and enter into the lease agreement with
K.C.Holdings,Inc.,(a copy of which is attached hereto)for the lease and option to purchase property
in Lot 3,Candleridge Park,an Official Plat in the City of Waukee,Dallas County,Iowa,according to
the terms thereof;and directs the City Administrator to take all procedures as required by law close the
transaction and obtain possession of the premises.
PASSED AND APPROVED this ISfi'day of March,1999.
