A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE
CENTRAL IOWA AREA SAFETY AND SUPPORT ORGANIZATION
FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee desires to provide safe working conditions for its
employees,minimizing accidents and reducing risks and losses;and
WHEREAS,a comprehensive safety program,including written policies of the City is a
necessary part of providing safe working conditions and minimizing accidents,risk and
losses;and
WHEREAS,a written plan for the formation of the Central Iowa Area Safety and
Support Organization has been prepared.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,By the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa
1.That management is hereby authorized to participate in the Central Iowa Area
Safety and Support Organization (CIASSO).
2.John Gibson,Public Works Director is appointed as the delegate to CIASSO.
3.Tim Royer,Gas Superintendent is appointed as the alternate to CIASSO.
