RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INVOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE CITY OF WAUKEE.
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa,is a duly organized
municipal corporation;and
WHEREAS,due and timely notice of hearing for Involuntary
Annexation has been published and mailed as required by law;and
WHEREAS,due hearing has been held on said Petition;and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa,desires to approve the
filing of the Involuntary Annexation petition into the City of
Waukee,Iowa;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Waukee,Iowa,as follows:
1.That the petition for Involuntary Annexation attached
hereto describing the area to be annexed,is hereby approved.
2.That the property approved for annexation,shal1 also
include any road right-of-way adjacent to the Voluntary
Annexation Property described herein to the center of the road.
3.That the City Clerk of the City of Waukee,Iowa,shall
forthwith cause this ResolutiOn and the Petition for Involuntary
Annexation to the City of WaUkee,Iowa,attached hereto,to be
filed with the City Development Board as required by Section
311.O,Code of Iowa,for approval by the Board.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and
approved this 17th day of August,1995.
