RESOLUTION 09-116
RESOLUTION CONCERNING CITY AQUATICS CENTER EXPLORATION
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City previously explored the development and construction of a City Aquatics Center
and upon receipt of the results of a report on February 4,2004 elected not to move forward with an
aquatics center at that time;AND,
WHEREAS,in 2009 the Aquatics Center Task Force was formed by the City to evaluate whether the
City should pursue an City Aquatics Center at this time and has recommended that the City not move
forward with a City Aquatics Center at this time;AND,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee this the 18th day of
May,2009 that the City not move forward with a City Aquatics Center at this time.
