APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION TO CORRECT A SCRIVENER'S ERROR
CONTAINED IN CITY OF W AUKEE,IOWA,RESOLUTION 09-45,MAKING
AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS RELATED TO THE NORTHVIEW
DRIVE EXTENSION AND 6TH STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on March 9,2009,the Waukee City Council approved a resolution making
award of construction contracts to Stemquist Construction ofIndianola,lA,for the Northview
Drive Extension and 6th Street Improvements Project (Resolution #09-45);AND,
WHEREAS,Resolution #09-45 contains a scrivener's error related to the Division I amount
of bid,which reads as $1,319,943.60 but should instead read as $1,306,268.10;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 18[hday of May 2009 that the scrivener's error contained in Resolution 09-45,making
award of construction contracts related to the Northview Drive Extension and 6th Street
Improvements Project,is hereby corrected so that the Division 1 amount of bids reads as
$1,306,268.10.
