RESOLUTION NO.99·129
RESOLUTION TO HIRE JOEY MARCHANT AND JON THOMAS AS A POLICE OFFICERS
WHEREAS,there has been a grant has been obtained from the Department of Justice for the
hiring of two police officers;and
WHEREAS,Chief Phillips and Sergeant Breuer have conducted interviews of potential
candidates,and
WHEREAS,Joey Marchant and Jon Thomas have been selected as the candidates best suited to
fill said openings,and
NOW THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Waukee that Joey
Marchant and Jon Thomas me hired as a full-time police officers with Mr.Marchant starting at date of
the earliest possible convenience and Mr.Thomas starting January 2,2000 at a starting salary of
$26,262.88.
Passed and Accepted this 19th day of October,1999.
