RESOLUTION ASSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION OF WILLIAM &JANICE DAY
PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized municipal
corporation;and
WHEREAS,there has been presented to the Waukee City Council of said City an Application for
Annexation,as required by Section 368.7,Code ofIowa,as amended,executed by William &Janice Day
the owner of the real estate to be annexed;aud
WHEREAS,said real estate lying adjacent to the existing City Limits of the City of Waukee,Iowa;aud
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee desires to annex said territory upon the Applicatiou heretofore
presented;aud
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee bestows upon the aunexed property au imposition of taxes as provided
iu Section 368.11,subsection 13 of the Iowa Code.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa as
follows:

That the Application for Annexation of the William &Janice Day Property as described in
Exhibit "A"attached hereto is hereby approved.
That upon acknowledgement by the City Development Board of the Clerk's filing of the
map aud this Resolution on the 13th day of July 2000 this territory shall thereafter be aud
become a part of the City of Waukee.
That the City Clerk of Waukee shall forthwith cause this Resolution aud the map exhibit
attached hereto be filed with the City Development Board aud other filings as required by
Section 368.7,Code ofIowa,as ameuded.

Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 3'"Day of July,2000.
