RESOLUTION DISMISSING INVOLUNTARY PETITION TO ANNEX COLBY
PROPERTY
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized municipal
corporation;and
WHEREAS,the City Council wishes to ensure the success of current and future annexation
efforts;and
WHEREAS,the City Council believes that further pursuing the involuntary annexation of the
Colby property may jeopardize other annexation efforts.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee does hereby
declare by resolution that the City of Waukee shall dismiss its involuntary petition for the
annexation of the Colby property.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 10th Day of July
2000.
