RESOLUTION APPROVING PREANNEXATION AGREEMENT FOR HOSIER'S,
GRANBERG'S,FERGUSON'S &HERRIDGE'S
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized municipal corporation;
and
WHEREAS,the City Council wants to assure the Hosier's,Granberg's,Ferguson's &Herridge's
(hereinafter Hosier's et al)that they will have the ability to request and receive A -2 zoning;and
WHEREAS,the City Council wants to assure the Hosier's et al that the City of Waukee will not interfere
with the Owners'use of a private well upon their property;and
WHEREAS,the City Council wants to assure the Hosier's et al that the City of Waukee will not require
them to pay a fee for sanitary sewer service until sanitary sewer is available to Owners;and
WHEREAS,the City Council is extending to the Hosier's et al tax abatement pursuant to Iowa Code
368.7(2)if they sign voluntary annexation petitions by July 13,2000 at 10:00am.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee does hereby declare by
resolution that it will these conditions if the Hosier's et al sigu voluntary petitions by July 13,2000 at
1O:00am.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 10th Day of July 2000.
