DOWNTOWN APPRECIATION MONTH"
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized municipal
corporation;and
WHEREAS,the City Council wants to express the City's sincerest gratitude to our downtown
retailers;and
WHEREAS,the City Council wants to do everything in the City's power to help our downtown
businesses stay economically viable.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee does hereby
declare by resolution that August 2000 is "Waukee Downtown Appreciation Month".
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 10th Day of July
2000.
