RESOLUTION 99-70
RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE CITY OF WAUKEE'S SUPPORT FOR THE
KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL PROGRAM.
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee values a clean environment;and
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council of the City of Waukee strongly encourage a volunteer
effort to beautify Waukee,the State of Iowa and the entire United States of America;and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee favors a metro wide effort to beautify Waukee and the
surrounding communities.
NOW THEREFORE,be it resolved that the City of Waukee hereby joins the effort to Keep
America Beautiful.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Mayor and City Council hereby direct the City
Administrator to make a check payable in the amount of$100.00 to the Keep America Beautiful
program for the purpose of membership therein.
