RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TITLE CHANGE AND COMPENSATION PACKAGE FOR JOSHUA
SMITH
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized municipal corporation;and
WHEREAS,Joshua Smith has taken the position of Deputy City Administrator to allow for the hiring of Jody
Gunderson as the Director of Community Development;and
WHEREAS,this position more accurately reflects Smith's value and expertise to the City;and
WHEREAS,this position carries with it a higher salary than his previous position.Salary will be equal to that of
the Police Chief and Public Works Director effective 711/2001.A $3,000 bonus is also payable on 7/112001.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa does approve the title
cbange and compensation package of Joshua Smith,Deputy City Administrator.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 21"'of August,2000.
