\Approving the Purchase of a Salt Storage Facility From American Shelters for the
Amount of $24,000.
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee desiring to be in compliance with the Department of
Natural Resources mandate applicable to salt storage;AND
WHEREAS,the City is in need of a salt storage facility;AND
WHEREAS,American Shelters of 105 Market Street,Audubon,Iowa has quoted the
City a 42 foot by 40 foot covered structure with 8 inch wide,8 foot high walls,2bays
with an 8foot center wall,6 inch concrete floor,6 inch by 30 foot by 42 foot approach,
and 216 foot openings with rolling doors;
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the City of Waukee in session this 21"
day of August 2000,hereby approves the purchase of a salt storage facility from
American Shelters for the Amount of $24,000.
