RESOLUTION NO.99-92
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING VEENSTRA &KIMM'S RECOMMENDATION FOR ADDING A
4-WAY STOP AND PAINTING CROSS WALKS AT THE INTERSECTION OF BOONE
DRIVE AND OLSON DRIVE;AND INSTALLING FLASHING LIGHTS INDICATING WHEN
25MPH IS IN EFFECT,WITH SAID PROJECT TO BE STARTED AFTER JULY 1,2000
WHEREAS,The City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,believes it is in the interest of public safety
to have a 4-way stop and crosswalk installed at the intersection of Boone Drive and Olson Drive;and
WHEREAS,The City Council also believes it is in the interest of public safety to have flashing lights
indicated when the 25mph speed limit is in effect installed along Boone Drive;and
WHEREAS,The proposal for safety improvements meets with City standards and specifications.
NOW THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the City
Administrator/Clerk is ordered to have a 4-way stop and crosswalk installed at the intersection of Boone
Drive and Olson Drive;and flashing lights indicated when the 25mph speed limit is in effect installed
along Boone Drive,with said project to be started after July 1,2000.
Passed and Accepted this 30th day of August,1999.
