RESOLUTION ANNEXATION MORATORIUM AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF WAUKEE
AND THE CITY OF WEST DES MOINES
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized municipal corporation;and
WHEREAS,the City of West Des Moines is a good municipal neighbor to the east and south of Waukee;and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee feels that agreeing to an annexation moratorium agreement will help both
communities in their capital improvement planning process;and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee believes this action is an appropriate gesture for future goodwill between both
communities.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa that said agreement is
approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 11th of September 2000.
