RESOLUTION TO EXTEND TRAFFIC LAWS AND ORDINANCES TO THE
PROPERTY OF MIDWEST MOBILE HOME DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION,INC.
WHEREAS,the owner of Midwest Country Estates,Midwest Mobile Horne Development
Corporation,Inc.,has requested that the traffic laws and ordinances applicable to Waukee,Dallas
County,Iowa,be extended to its property known as Midwest country Estates,and legally
described as:
The Southeast One Quarter (SE v.i )of the Northwest one Quarter (NW v.i)of
Section Thirty-four (34)in Township Seventy-nine (79)North,Range Tweuty-six
(26)West of the 5th P.M.,and the Northeast One Quarter (NE v.i )of the
Northwest Quarter (NW v.i)of Sectiou Thirty-four (34)in Township Seventy-nine
(79)North,Range Twenty-six (26)West of the 5th P.M.,Dallas County Iowa,
except the North Five Hundred Forty-two Feet (542')of the East Nine Hundred
Thirty-four feet (934')thereof;aud
WHEREAS,the above described land is occupied by a mobile horne park;and
WHEREAS,under provisions §321.251 (2),Code of Iowa,the City of Waukee is authorized to
extend its traffic laws and ordinances to the above-described area;and
WHEREAS,it is in the best interests of the City of Waukee that the laws and ordinances of the
City of Waukee be so extended;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Waukee extend the application of
its traffic laws,ordinauces,rules and regulations to the above-described territory and any persous
located on the real property;and the authority is hereby granted to any peace officer to enforce
the vehicular traffic provisions of Chapter 321,Code of Iowa,or the ordinances,rules,or
regulations of the City of Waukee,as well as auy regulations or couditions imposed on the real
property pursuaut to §321.251(1),Code ofIowa.The election made herein shall not create a
higher priority for the enforcement of traffic laws on real property upou which a mobile home is
located than exists for the enforcemeut of traffic laws on public property.
Passed by the City Council of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the '2nd day of October,2000.
