WHEREAS,it is the intention of the City of Waukee to apply for transportation
funding through the MFO for the surfacing of LA Grant Parkway/V Avenue south from
University Avenue to Ashworth Road;and
WHEREAS,it is the intention of the City of Waukee to apply for transportation
funding through the MFO for the widening of University Avenue for 142nd to Warrior
lane;and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee and the City of West Des Moines will jointly
apply for transportation funding through the MFO for design and engineering of the
proposed 1-80 Alice's Road/l0Sth Street Interchange;now therefore,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,
IOWA:
THAT,the City of Waukee is committed to funding the local match of the
transportation projects submitted to the MFO;and
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of Waukee,Iowa do
hereby approve funding the local match requirement as stated in the applications
submitted to the MFO on November 3,2000.
