AWARDING CONTRACT FOR INSTALLATION OF UNIVERSITY AVENUE
WATER MAIN PHASE IT TO EARTH MOVERS INC.
WHEREAS,The City of Waukee has declared the need for a water main extension along
University Avenue from L.A.Grant Parkway to Warrior Land;and
WHEREAS,The City having let bids on April 13,2000 for the installation of
approximately 1,712linear feet of 12-inch water main in open cut,hydrants,valves,
granular surfacing,excavation and backfill,connection to existing system,surface
restoration and miscellaneous associated work,including cleanup with the apparent low
bidder being Earth Movers Inc.;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Waukee is awarding the
University Avenue Water Main Phase II contract to Earth Movers Inc.for the bid of
$60,454.00.
Passed and approved on April 17,2000.
